Overview
In an agent-powered world — whether the agent is an AI, a trading bot, or a human — you can't rely on trust or code audits to guarantee safe behavior.
The problem isn't the agent; It's where the rules live.
On Saline, rules are attached to the asset itself and not to the agent. This means that no matter who or what tries to interact with the asset, it must follow the rules you’ve defined.
We call these rules mandates.
A mandate is a piece of logic installed directly on-chain, that defines what an asset can or cannot do. If a transaction violates the mandate, it will be rejected by the network. No exceptions and no workarounds.
This approach creates a secure environment where agents are free to operate.
